Everyone
knows one version of this classic tale, but which did Shakespeare's company
probably use? The Circle Ensemble Theatre Company's production is going back to the First Quarto,
which many scholars believe is the version that best represents the actual
script that Shakespeare used both while touring the country and in London. Most
people today, however, are only familiar with the revised Second Quarto and the First Folio versions, which were possibly edited for reading, adding
