Ever tasted a salad with wild sorrel? Cooked fresh poke weed? Or served pawpaw ice cream at a party?  Would you like to grow your own Shitakes and herbs to enhance veggie dishes grown in your garden?  In this exciting day long symposium, find out how you can use fun, edibles – many of which are native - in your garden and your kitchen. Discover which edibles can add beauty to your garden while providing you with tasty and nutritious fruits, veggies and nuts as well as how to integrate these into a beautiful landscape design. Speakers include Tres Froomme, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Julie Runk, Department of Anthropology, UGA, Pam Butts, SBG, and several additional engaging presenters.
