Romeo and Juliet at the Garden

Everyone knows one version of this classic tale, but which did Shakespeare's company probably use? The Circle Ensemble Theatre Company's production is going back to the First Quarto, which many scholars believe is the version that best represents the actual script that Shakespeare used both while touring the country and in London. Most people today, however, are only familiar with the revised Second Quarto and the First Folio versions, which were possibly edited for reading, adding considerable length and convoluted poetry to the mix.  Tickets are available at CircleEnsembleTheatre.com or call 706-362-2175.
Morning school shows available October 2 and 3. Call 706-362-2175 for details.
